WELCOME! WE ARE WILLIE & MELISSA LEE, THE HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM BEHIND LEE’S INLET APOTHECARY, GOOD DEED GOODS, & THE SALTY GOAT COMPANY IN MURRELLS INLET, SC. WE BELIEVE IN THE APOTHECARY DIFFERENCE WHICH IS TO PERSONALLY ATTEND TO YOUR PRESCRIPTION NEEDS UTILIZING TRUSTED PHARMACISTS AND STAFF WHO DEMONSTRATE LOVE AND LOYALTY FOR OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH COMPASSIONATE CARE.
THE IDEA FOR A “DRUG STORE THE WAY IT USED TO BE,” HAS BEEN, FROM THE VERY BEGINNING, A GOD-GIVEN, GOD-DRIVEN VENTURE AND AS WE LOOK BACK OVER THE PAST 22 YEARS OF BUSINESS, WE CAN SEE GOD’S HAND THROUGHOUT IT ALL, MAKING GOOD ON A DREAM WE DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WE HAD.
BACK IN 2002, GOD LED WILLIE TO LEAVE THE WORLD OF CORPORATE PHARMACY SO THAT HE COULD CREATE A LEVEL OF PHARMACY CARE THAT WAS CHRIST CENTERED AND PEOPLE FOCUSED.
While in pharmacy school at the University of Georgia, Willie had the opportunity to intern with Melissa’s dad, Wilson Cain, who owned and operated Southside Pharmacy in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Back then, not only could you get your prescriptions filled, but you could also pick up a gift or a sandwich while you waited. At The Apothecary, we’ve brought that same tradition to life with our soda fountain and gift boutique, Good Deed Goods. Our passion for providing care and attention to our community runs deep. We love creating a place where people are taken care of and get to enjoy the nostalgia of a simpler time. Come step in, step back, and experience The Apothecary Difference.
